FAMILY ORIENTED COMMUNITY
I have heard that the St. Bens Chicago neighborhood in northern Chicago is a quiet, family-oriented community with good schools and a peaceful spirit to the place. I can’t imagine myself every living there. I didn’t just grow up in the city. I grew up in the thick of the city. If police sirens don’t wake me up at some point in the night, I can’t sleep peacefully at all. I need to be near everything. Shops, trains, buses, nightlife, theaters, and or at least be within a reasonable distance. I like peace and quit just as much as anyone else, but I would hate to live out in the suburbs or deep within the country and have to drive out miles and miles to do anything. I visited my friends in Indianapolis earlier this year. As far as I could tell, Indiana is not an actual state. It’s really just a big suburb of Chicago. There’s really nothing out there. In Indianapolis itself, I saw only two places of interest: a gun shop and a strip club. Ironically, they were across the street from each other. I did find a cool health good store to eat at. But that was pretty much it.
