LOCATION DOWNTOWN
I have a gaming computer, a personal computer I use for web surfing and email and such, digital cable, a DVD player, an exercise bike, a window air conditioner, and a lot of decent furniture. My apartment has a lot of space and is in a great location downtown right near the train. My utility bills are never that big and since I live up on the third floor no one ever bothers me. Still, with all my bills and everything combined, I still mostly break even every month. It’s annoying, but I realize if I want to live by myself I’ll have to pay around 800 dollars in rent every month. Of course I got this apartment when I was working in real estate and my then boss claimed I’d be making a thousand a month or so, which was all lies or maybe exaggeration. He never trained me and within a month was asking me if I wanted to quit. Luckily, I was able to pick freelance design work and managed to get by for a while, but I still feel betrayed. This boss even went to the lengths of adding me on myspace and calling me every once in a while to ask if I want to go out to drink with him. I can hardly believe it.
